Ali's mixtapes were pretty solid.

Couple of things ...

Chingy is a joke ... the only projects he's involved in are the ones within his own city ... the people he's known in the industry (and obviously still cool with) from the beginning ... and the only reason THAT happened is because he stopped running his mouth ... for now.

I like Jibbs.  One album but honestly, I think there was somethin' there.  Kid is interesting.

Gena is making songs but he's like a mixtape St. Louis artist or something.  People know who Jibbs is (barely) in Toronto, but they DEFINITELY wouldn't know Gena ...

And Murphy Lee is too big for these artists but honestly, he's gotta do it.  Park of something bigger at hand so, do it up.

One of Nelly's interviews, he made a point about "artists" succeeding ... I think that's for the better in the future.
There hasn't been A LOT of "Soulja Boys" lately ...

It's been Katy Perry and Usher ... even Ke$ha has had a number of hits but she's a new artist (new artists have their own hype ... for a bit).
You see T.I. and Ludacris and Eminem, as opposed to up-and-comers ...
